Workshop on language technology for a multilingual Europe

On Thursday, May 16th, Språkbanken Sam and AI Sweden invite you to a workshop on the ongoing efforts within the Language Data Space (LDS) project to share data and develop language technology within the EU. This initiative opens up new opportunities for cross-border communication through machine translation and multilingual services for Swedish and other languages across Europe.

During the workshop, we will discuss the possibilities offered by the Language Data Space and how your organization can contribute to and benefit from the project. AI Sweden will present its work on building the next generation of large multimodal language models for Swedish, while several organizations will showcase how they have developed their organizations with the help of language technology and AI. The workshop is aimed at small and large businesses, as well as public organizations dealing with linguistic data and interested in innovation and development. The day concludes with a networking session. You are warmly welcome!

Time: Thursday, May 16th, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Location: Europahuset, floor 2. Regeringsgatan 65, Stockholm. Register by May 6th. Please note that the number of seats is limited.
